They perform general anesthesia treatments safely outside the operating room, using professional equipment and in accordance with all applicable guidelines.
Is general anesthesia right for you?
Do you think treatment under general anesthesia might be a solution for you? Then we’ll first schedule a comprehensive intake with one of our dentists. During this appointment, we’ll discuss your dental condition, your medical history, and your wishes. If necessary, we’ll take x-rays. Based on this, we will assess whether general anesthesia is a suitable option. If so, we will explain the process in detail.
What does general anesthesia involve?
If you are eligible for general anesthesia, you will complete a medical questionnaire beforehand. This will be reviewed by the anesthesiologist. If further information is needed, they will contact you.
On the day of the treatment:
- You will arrive at the practice fasting.
- The anesthesia team will prepare you for the anesthesia.
- The anesthesia will be administered with short-acting agents (without muscle relaxants).
- Your vital functions will be carefully monitored throughout the treatment.
- Afterward, you will wake up peacefully in a separate recovery room.
- The anesthesiologist will tell you when it is safe for you to go home.
